Representative Experience
Mr. Jarvis’s practice focuses on complex business litigation.
He has experience in all stages of civil litigation in state and
federal court, including extensive federal and state appellate
experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jarvis practiced law at large national
law firms and an appellate boutique firm. He has represented clients
in a wide array of business disputes; including commercial litigation,
real estate, employment, and intellectual property matters.
He has also counseled high-tech and educational institution clients
with respect to privacy issues, non-competition/disclosure agreements
and other employment-related matters.
Academic Background
Mr. Jarvis received his J.D. magna cum laude from Pepperdine University
School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the law review and
won various awards for appellate advocacy and academics. He externed
for the Honorable Consuelo Marshall, Central District of California,
and in the United States Justice Department before clerking for the
Honorable Alice M. Batchelder of the United States Court of Appeals,
Sixth Circuit.
Interests
Mr. Jarvis spends the majority of his free time with his wife trying
to keep up with their two sons, occasionally finding time for Kendo
(Japanese fencing). He grew up in Massachusetts and remains an avid
Boston sports fan.
