Representative Experience
Mrs. Eropkin has assisted the firm's factoring, lending and small business clients in enforcing
their rights in both state and federal courts.
In particular, Mrs. Eropkin's legal experience includes successful briefing and oral argument before California's Fourth District Court of Appeal in San Diego. Before the appellate court, Mrs. Eropkin providing briefing to defend a judgment of dismissal entered in favor of the firm's lending client in response to a borrower's challenge to the conduct of a foreclosure sale pursuant to trust deed. Also, before the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Pasadena, Mrs. Eropkin successfully assisted the firm's client in avoiding trial and obtaining a summary judgment of dismissal in response to the same borrower's claims of fraud in inducement of the foreclosed real estate loan.
Mrs. Eropkin's legal experience includes representing secured lenders in response to various mechanic's lien foreclosure litigation within the firm's real estate practice. Finally, Mrs. Eropkin also has experience prosecuting limited and unlimited collection cases on behalf of the firm's clients and defending against applications for writs of attachment.
Academic Background
Mrs. Eropkin received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2002, her Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University in 2007, and her J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2007.
While in law school, Mrs. Eropkin was a member and editor of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal. She also received a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Research and Writing I and was named on the Dean's List during the 2003 fall semester, 2005 academic year, and 2007 spring semester.
Interests
Mrs. Eropkin and her husband stay busy while keeping up with their toddler, and
they enjoy participating in their local church and following college football.
